The well-known automobile company Maruti Suzuki has launched his new car S-Presso in India. The ex-showroom price in New Delhi starts from Rs. 3.69 lakh. The newly launched car is based on Future S concept, and also Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is referred as mini SUV because it has similar characteristics of SUV, for e.g., has enough ground clearance, tall and bold design, etc.
The front view of the car looks similar to Vitara Brezza. It has square-shaped headlamps and has a heavy bumper. Overall it has a tall and boxy shape, which makes the car stands out of the crowd of hatchbacks. The rear view of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso also has a square shaped tail lamp and has a big boot space.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has a petrol engine of 1.0 litre derived from Alto K10. It produces 67 bhp power at 5500 RPM and 3500 RPM produces a torque of 90 Nm. BS6 engine is used and has a 5-speed manual transmission. The AMT version of the same is also available. The Maruti’s Mini SUV is designed on the Heartect concept of Maruti Suzuki.
After the front and rear view, now comes the interiors. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has a black interior all the way, and at the dashboard, the body color of the vehicle is used in the top variant. The main attraction of this car in interiors is its round center console, and the concept has been taken from Mini Cooper. It has a SmartPlay touchscreen system designed by Maruti, and it offers you the connectivity from smartphone too. A socket of 12 volts and a USB port is also mounted at the center console, and in addition to it, the power windows switch, and the AC controls are also placed.
If we talk about the safety features, the Maruti’s Mini SUV has dual airbags in the top variant, and various sensors are added like the rear parking sensors, speed sensor door locking system, etc. In the other lower variants, the airbag is offered at the driver side, but the customer has the option to upgrade and can have the passenger airbag too.
There are in total 4 variants of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, and they are namely, Standard, VXI, VXI+, and LXI. These are further subdivided into 10 more options depending upon the choices of customers based on trims and transmissions. The length of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is 3665 mm, and the width is 1520 mm, and in addition the wheelbase is 2380 mm long. The new Maruti’s Mini SUV has 2 tyre size options – 13 inches and 14 inches, and accordingly, the height of the car varies and comes out to be 1549 mm and 1564 mm.
